world championship 2011 final men: Zhang Jike vs Wang Hao › European Championships 2011 videos ›swedish open 2011
In this Table Tennis video playlist of the Swedish Open 2011 held in Stockholm in August, you can see:
The worlds two currently best table tennis players meets in the mens singles final in Swedish Open Championships in Stockholm. Ma Long currently ranked nr 1 and Wang Hao nr 2 (by ITTF) at the time. Ma Long won the match. Final result 11--7, 14--12, 11--8, 11--7 It is Ma Long's Third Consecutive ITTF Pro Tour Title.
Semi final men's singles: Wang Hao and Wang Liqin both of China. Many people may say Wang Liqin has gone down hill badly now, and that he doesn't meet the standards of players like Ma Long and Wang Hao but if you actually watched the match, not just the highlights, you would see that he actually should have won and gone into the finals. Liqin was 3 games up to 1 and played amazingly in the second, third and fourth games. Hao couldn't touch him. Liqin had 3 match points only to see a huge come back where Hao just couldn't miss a thing. You could see the total disappointment in Liqin's eyes as a result. Liqin used to be regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, but I dont think that record is there anymore. Maybe age hit him hard. As for Hao, if you don't apologize after you win a point by hitting the edge of the net and then even yell out loud about winning this point, your just a poor person. That's why so many people don't like Wang Hao.
Also in this Swedish Open of 2011 you can see Guo Yan vs Liu Shiwen both of China battle it out in the women's final.
Of course Wang Liqin looked better against Kenji Matsudaira in this ITTF Pro Tour.
