European Championships 2011 videos
The European table tennis championships 2011 or ETTU have been Live Streaming table tennis TV and lots of people have uploaded to youtube and I have compiled 3 hours of matches so far, in the playlist below you can see:
The Men's Team Final: Germany versus Sweden. My favorite match so far to watch was to see Timo Boll and Jergern Person the legends of the sport show us how it is done. Once again reaffirming that age is not a factor in being a great table tennis player. In the Boll Person match you can how most strokes are topspin loops. Boll often ends up more close to the table on the offense whilst Jorgen Person still wins a lot of long rallies away from the distance in slightly more defensive positions. One of the best of those is at 3:20. Timo wins lots of shorter points here with faster drives which are often aimed away from reach. Person plays some very nice backhand punch drives which are very fast also. 11:9 in 5th 3:1 in games.
It was a much better match than the Men's Singles Final where Patrick Baum another German couldn't deal with how spinny Timo Boll's shots were. Baum kept hitting them off the end of the table up in the air. It just shows how much far ahead Timo Boll still is to the other European players.
Men's Singles Quarter Final :: TOKIC Bojan (SVN) - OVTCHAROV Dimitrij (GER) : 4-3 = 11-8, 7-11, 11-9, 11-5, 5-11, 6-11, 12-10 showed how important the backhand is in table tennis.
The table tennis youtube video of Germany vs. Greece is from the 1/4 Quarter Final - shows some realistic table tennis: meaning it the level of play looks super human than watching the top Chinese play. Timo Boll vs Kalinikos Kreanga, Kalinikos Kreanga vs Dimitrij Ovtcharov, Panagiotis Gionis-Bastian Steger

Samsanov
Samsanov seeded number 2 is a joke. After watching play recently it is quite depressing, I wonder what is happening in his life behind the game..
